I first became acquainted with Smith Marine when they were handling the  barge tows for the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. They were very professional and were very flexible in our process. When we had to look for a new barge and tow company, I had only one company in  mind, Smith Marine. They have a great team in place that handles all our needs.  Smith Marine works with us and with the many city, state and federal agencies involved with the firework component, as well as working through the limitations we have with the Charles River locks, and pier space in Boston. Pier and Seawall Construction

In the Winter of 2018 our timber seawall suffered significant damage during a 'Noreaster.  After evaluating numerous marine contractors, we selected Smith Marine to build a new, safer and longer-lasting wall. I can only say that during the entire project, the Smith crew exhibited the highest possible standards in terms of work ethic, client relations and professionalism. They worked seamlessly with the city's Conservation Committee and the Engineering firm who designed the wall. The result: A gorgeous, higher, safer and more durable wall. Their attention to detail during construction was exacting as was their care for our property.  I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody who needed a job done to perfection. They know their stuff!
